MLA Bhaderwah holds public darbar, distributes LPG connections | KNO

BHADERWAH,NOV 15 (KNO) :Member of Legislative Assembly from Bhaderwah Daleep Singh Parihar accompanied by District Development Commissioner Doda Bhawani Rakhwal and sector officers of all line departments distributed LPG connections under the Prime Minister Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) and also conducted a tour to Bhalessa and convened public assembly at Manoo area . The people apprised the MLA of various problems being faced by them. They projected their demands in respect of drinking water, adequate power supply, proper road connectivity, medicare facilities, civic amenities, pending liability under MGNERGA, land compensation and installation of transformers . People also highlighted the poor condition of various water supply schemes in the area and demanded to ensure regular supply of clean drinking water to all villages, filling up of vacant posts in PHC, Health sub-centers, school and black topping on various link roads of Bhalessa . MLA after listening to the problems of people, sought reports from the concerning officers and directed them for early redressal of the issues.Daleep Singh Parihar exhorted upon the officers that benefits of various development and welfare schemes should reach to the real beneficiaries. The MLA said that he is committed for socio-economic empowerment of the people especially those living in hilly, remote and far-flung areas. He emphasized on regular monitoring of the development works besides use of quality material. He said no stone would be left unturned in redressing genuine grievances of the people.On the issue of power cuts during upcoming winter season, MLA directed PDD officials to notify a schedule of power curtailment and ensure the uninterrupted power supply in the area, especially during upcoming winter seasons. Also repair all the damaged transformers with week time so that general public won’t face any problem in regard to electricity.
